At TERRRIBLE Studios, we’ve always been big fans of Spider-Man’s very first animated TV series. So when we launched the studio and started exploring how to showcase our brand-new production pipeline — blending 2D and 3D techniques — it felt only natural to pay tribute to the Friendliest Neighborhood Hero.

We set ourselves a challenge: what if our artists reimagined the iconic 70’s opening sequence using today’s skills and technology? Shot by shot, we pushed things to their limit — enhancing camera movements, angles, animation, and overall energy — while even adding a couple of extra shots for fun.

This project is a true labor of love, and for now we’re only able to share a work-in-progress. We hope you enjoy it as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.
